Background: This Committee is directly connected to the Henoko base issue and its Representatives oversee the Pentagon, all military services, and all Department of Defense agencies. Tell them to push the Pentagon to stop the construction of the new base.

Background: On March 19, 2019, the Center for Biological Diversity and over a dozen American conservation and animal protection groups submitted a letter to the U.S. House Armed Services Committee. The letter asked the Committee to comply with U.S. environmental laws by stopping base construction in Henoko-Oura Bay.
